Grant W. Koch made camp his life’s work because of his fundamental belief that camp makes a tremendous contribution to children’s welfare.

Grant was dedicated to helping youth learn and grow in body, mind and spirit so that they could mature into responsible, compassionate, productive, happy adults.

He valued camps as a unique educational experience, and continually inspired those he so ably led to show children the strengths within themselves. He left an important, lasting legacy.

In 1981, through generosity of family and friends, The Grant W. Koch Scholarship Fund was established to perpetuate Grant’s name by supporting what meant so much to him, helping children experience camp. This scholarship has continued the experience of summer camp for three decades. Without the generous help from you and other donors to this fund many children would not have the opportunity of a summer camp adventure. Our goal is to help more and more children every summer, and to achieve that goal, we continually reach out to our friends and supporters to join the effort with their contributions.

Of course, as with any charitable endeavor, the need is greater than the resources! While the Fund has grown through the support not only of those people who knew Grant, but also of those who simply understand the value of camp, it still falls short of being able to assist all the children and families who apply for aid.

Without this financial aid, some must be left behind. Of course, its our goal to help more and more children every summer, and to achieve that goal, we continually reach out to our friends and supporters to join in the effort with their contributions. Every dollar makes a difference, and every gift, regardless of the size, is appreciated and put to good purpose.

Every dollar makes a difference, and every gift, regardless of size, is appreciated and put to good purpose. Remember your summer camp experience and allow another child that same opportunity by donating to this fantastic scholarship fund.
