Jay Cashman is a rare individual who has been extremely successful in business but who also is infused with a commitment to give back to the communities he lives in.  Jay has a wonderful property in the middle of Big Pleasant Bay in Chatham – Strong Island.  Many of our CCSC sailors who have raced in Pleasant Bay will be familiar with the island.

For over four decades, he has applied expertise and resources to successfully complete some of the most challenging and significant construction projects in North America. Whether revitalizing communities and waterways or redefining power generation and infrastructures, Cashman is a recognized innovator in multi-disciplinary construction.

His comprehensive portfolio of companies and services—spanning wind power and dredging to heavy civil engineering and concrete tank design and construction—are strategically aligned to provide his clients with higher levels of performance, greater efficiencies, and better visibility into every facet of each project.

We are thrilled that Jay understands the role that the Grant W. Koch Scholarship Fund plays in the lives of so many deserving children who are given the opportunity to attend a summer camp on Cape Cod.  A summer camp experience has an enormous influence on the growth and development of children.

What is particularly interesting about Jay is that his family was involved in the construction of the Provincetown Monument.  Every day when the wind is out of the North and the skies are clear, we can see it from our beach.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our other major sponsors.  David and Carey Burwick, Scott Klein, and Smith and Rauschenbach.
